BRUNELLO 1997

STEPHEN TANZER'S INTERNATIONAL WINE CELLAR - Top Score 97/1000. Penetrating ruby, with a garnet core. Gorgeous nose combines sandalwood, close, lavender and mint, plus a whiff of pipe tobacco. Vibrant flavors of marzipan, cocoa and vanilla are quite concentrated and beautifully delineated. Deep, sensuous, generous and compelling. Long finish features suave tannins and a lingering sensation of candied fruits.

A remarkable Brunello. - ITALIAN SOMMELIER ASSOCIATION - Score 90/1000 - "rejecting the modern fashions of vinification, the wine retains and incomparable terroir, and it demonstrates that the boundaries between traditional and modern can be very subtle. It would be better to realize that without splendid work in the vineyard and a different interpretation in the cellar, no great wine, modern or traditional, can exist. "

The wine of Giuseppe Maria Sesti Appears to be timeless.

BRUNELLO 1998 RISERVA
