The Philipe
Gonet family owns a Champagne house with 19 hectares (47 acres) of
vineyards dotted throughout the Champagne region of France, and particularly
in Le Mesnil sur Oger, the heart of the beat area and classified as
"Grand Cru 100%" of the famous "Cote des Blancs".
This enables the family to produce select vintages in its cellars. |
|

In the
interest if of creating prestigious vintages, the family has continues
to follow its carefully developed winemaking traditions for the
past 6 generations. At present the winemaking process combines modern
techniques with the use of valuable and well preserved traditional
methods and knowledge.

A traditional vintage
made of a subtle blend of three types of grapes - Pinot Noir, Pinot
Meunier and Chardonnay. Thesmoothness of the Pinots and the freshness
of the Chardonnay combine to give this champagne a perfect balance. |
This pure Chardonnay
is remarkably fine with great body and freshness typical of its name.
It is best served with light dishes. |

|

The prestigious
vintage is only made during years when the grapes are of exceptional
quality and only after very careful selection of Chardonnay solely
from the Mesnil sur Oger area. It embodies tha perfect expression
of the MESNIL flavour. An aroma of roasted almond, power and elegance
give this Champagne its distinct style. This champagene is made with
a very small "dosage". We recommend savouring it exclusively
as an aperitif. |
